Our class trip to the State Archives is scheduled for Thursday, October 27th. We will meet in the parking area just east of Herriott Hall at 12:20. The State Archives are located inside the State Historical Building of Iowa. which is located at 600 East Locust downtown, not too far from the State Capitol Building. Below are Mapquest directions for how to get there. At the northeast corner of the SHSI is a free parking ramp. After parking there, we will walk to the south side of the building where the main entrance is located. Our tour begins at 12:45.
