Unsurprisingly, Mr. Wise enrolled as student at Drake and in May of 1950 he received his Bachelor of Science in Education. He met his eventual wife during his junior year, and entered the service for WWII, but was never called into action. While at Drake he was a member of the social fraternity Alpha Tau Omega. In 1951 he received his Masters of Education. He has stayed in close connection with Drake University even after his graduation. |

Mr. Jim Wise spent his childhood growing up in the neighborhood around Drake University Campus.
